Walking in the park one can realise how wonderful the summer season is, everything around is flourishing, the birds are singing, and one can feel that nature around us is lining.  The trees and plants are giving fruits, lots of flowers are blooming displaying different colours and one can smell the amazing smell in the air.

Summer is the time to enjoy the outdoors, aside from the sun being on its best and brightest behaviour, there are many things that just feel right during this time of the year.  We get used to the season coming and going within the blink of an eye and it is easy to overlook the best things about summer.

On a summer morning looking out of the window only to find the sun shining back at you is super uplifting and you feel like you can conquer the world.

Summer is the time for kids to get active it is a break from the structure dictated by the school day, a time for more play and days spent learning all about football.

Our weekend football sessions are the perfect option for young kids to experience the wonderful days of summer, make loads of friends and learn all the latest tactics and techniques of football.  Our coaches are well experienced and to be honest they enjoy the fresh outdoors maybe a little bit more that the kids.

As we near the summer holidays, we have ensured that even though our weekend football sessions will not take place during the holidays we have kept parents and kids in mind and offer 1-2-1 private football sessions, plus our sports camp will be running during the holidays.

For the working parent that is not able to go on holiday, a great idea is to enrol your kids for summer camp where they have the advantage of joining the multi-sports or football camp or even both.

During the summer camp kids spends their day enjoying a variety of sports helping them to decide which sport they enjoy most, giving them the opportunity to select their favourite sport and build a healthy, active sports career.

At First Touch we share that love for the fun this season can bring, and we also know how important it is for kids to be kept safe, engaged, and active when they’re not in school.
