The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart.

Well in my mind football is the most beautiful game and I do believe many of you will agree with me.  I remember as a kid on my way to play football in the park my heart would beat with excitement at the thought that I was going to have a wonderful few hours playing football with my friends.

Football is felt with the heart, if your kids have never played this great game before, maybe it is time you want to consider letting them give it a try.  Football is really such a fun sport to play, and everyone can play as it can be played almost anywhere.  To enable your kids to make lots of new friends it is a good idea to enroll them at First Touch for the ultimate experience in football.

Once you get to know all the different benefits of football you would want your kids to play it all day long.  It is not just fun and socialising with other kids, but it has fantastic benefits for mental state, heart health, muscles, bone strength just to mention a few.

Just imagine each time your kids run onto the pitch they get a good workout for their lungs and hearts as most of the game involves running back on forth on the pitch. It is extremely important to get a good cardio workout, when kids have a workout their lungs and heart become more efficient.  So, the more your kids play football the stronger their heart gets as more blood and oxygen gets pumped to all the parts of their bodies, such as muscles. This is a good preventive method as it reduces the chance of heart disease, gets rids of plaque build-up in the arteries and controls the blood pressure as they get older.

Another amazing thing about football is that anyone can play, boys and girls young and old.  First Touch offers football over weekends for kids from the age of 3 to 13 years.

Foot-eye coordination is a big benefit that kids can reap from playing football as it involves several complex motions like dribbling the ball with their feet, receiving passes, shooting the ball, making passes, and hitting the ball with their head. Playing football will make them better over time, after all practice makes perfect.

I can carry on telling you all about how wonderful football is for kids, like building their social skills helping them learn social abilities and socialising, teamwork, sportsmanship, developing a solid ethic in terms of playing fair plus it is also a great way to learn leadership skills and such much more.

When kids hit the ball with their heads they engage their core, back and chest muscles, therefore football is not just a great way for healthy hearts and lungs, but also increases their muscle strength.

Football helps to deal with anxiety and depression as physical exercises causes your brain to release serotonin which we know as the “happy chemical”, making kids feel happier, more elated, and has the effect of controlling anxiety.

By mention just a few wonderful things about football I am sure you can see this is a fantastic sport to enroll your kids in and to help them lead a happier and healthier life.
